Teresa Giudice is laughing off online criticism after a recent social media post turned out less than picture-perfect.
Over the weekend, "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star paid tribute to her friendship with fellow reality-TV personality Larsa Pippen with a birthday tribute on Instagram. Pippen, a regular on "The Real Housewives of Miami," turned 50 on Saturday.
Giudice shared a photo of the two in the post, in which the women appear to be posing on a scenic beach in chic bathing suits. "Happy Birthday to my girl @larsapippen. Wishing you all the best to come. Love you 💕," she wrote.
However, Giudice's tribute to Pippen quickly fizzled after fans began alleging she photoshopped the image.
Pippen responded to Giudice's birthday love in the comments section but did not address the digital backlash. "Love u so much ❤️," she wrote.

Following criticism from fans, Giudice got in on the joke by reposting memes of her birthday tribute to Pippen.
On Sunday, the "RHONJ" star shared several posts on her Instagram Stories that superimposed the image of Giudice and Pippen on other backgrounds, including the surface of the moon and the Eiffel Tower in France.
Giudice even commented on a carousel post by podcaster Christian Gray Snow, titled "Larsa & Tre Round the World 🌎✈️," which showed Giudice and Pippen posing against various international landmarks.
"Love it," Giudice wrote.
